I also wanted to perform a bulk conversion of CBRs to read on my Nook color but I started experimenting with a manual conversion of CBR to CBZ. The problem is, when I tried to send the created CBZ to my Nook via calibre it will force the 'auto-convert' option and then it takes over 5min to convert the CBZ to epub.
